Duck Race

Sunday 25th August saw the Llangynog Duck Race

As usual, we joined forces with the bowling club to do a cake stall. In spite of the wet and windy weather £161 was taken on the stall resulting in £80.50 each for both our WI and the Bowling Club. Great teamwork all round!

A massive thank you for all the cakes and help on the day!

Unfortunately, we had to abandon the plan to use our gazebos, due to the atrocious weather conditions.

Here we are in the New Inn conservatory with a lot of cakes from both Bowling Club and WI members, and after a very slow start, they all sold!
