We had a lovely afternoon on Sunday 18th August when we visited Llanerchydol Hall, Welshpool. We were made welcome by everyone there and were able to see all the work that they were doing to restore this historic house and gardens.

The visit was organised by PMFWI and was well attended by Federation members including a party of eight from Llangynog. We really enjoyed having a good look around both the house and the gardens.

The home-made cakes and scones were excellent and the smell of them cooking when we arrived made everyone feel hungry. It would be interesting to make a return visit in a couple of years to see how the house and gardens progress.
