Annual Wales Conference
The 98th Annual Wales Conference was held in Caernarfon on 22nd March at Galeri Caernafon.
As well as the usual business and presentations members were entertained by four speakers.
The main, and probably the most interesting of the speakers, was Debra Drake (2022 Great British Sewing Bee finalist) with a fascinating talk entitled “The Adventures of an Introvert/Extrovert Sewing Enthusiast - from BBC to Llandudno!”

Janet, Mary and Maureen sat high up in the balcony
with a good view of the packed hall below.
There was a break for lunch leaving just enough
time for Llangynog WI members to have a tasty
meal at the harbour-side Table Table restaurant.
