What a way to spend an icy, cold, Wednesday winter’s night! Members of Llangynog WI and co-opted members, Droopy Drawers, Flossie and Mrs Sultana, entertained villagers, family and friends with a mini panto on Zoom.

Anne Hill and Pam Parnell, under the direction of Janet Burton and Zoom host Jean Hurrell, allowed the characters from Cinderella and the Sultan, to step onto our screens.

The tantalizing Ugly Sisters and Cinder’s stepmother were no match for the fair Cinderella, who with the help of Buttons, the Fairy Godmother and the ghost of Cinder’s mother, won Prince Charming’s heart. The Ugly Sisters danced their way into the powerful Sultan’s harem and Buttons fell for the sweet Mrs Sultana.

So, as they say, ‘ All’s well that ends well’
