Lockdownuary

Well, here we are, the beginning of the New Year and back in Lockdown!

However, there is light at the end of the tunnel…
with the expectation that before too long
members will be called to take their first dose of the
Coronavirus vaccine!


First, however, Ann and Danny welcome in the New Year
by keeping their ‘spirits’ up with…
“Lemon gin tonight, pink gin last night, who knows what gin tomorrow!”



Ann then impresses us all with her yoga moves.
It may be wintery outside, but that’s no excuse for not keeping fit in this household.


She’s been exercising her mind too…
“Just some of the books I have read in lockdown,
not all as a big number went to charity shops
when we had a small break in restrictions.”


Chris has been cleverly knitting and sewing dollies during this lockdown, and has also made some patchwork curtains for the kitchen!


Anne Hill has been skilfully painting pet portraits.

Pam not only celebrated her birthday this month,
but also the birth of a beautiful new grandson!

“In these times of uncertainty I'm sure a little light relief will go a long way,
so I'm proud to announce that we became grandparents again
with the birth of Findley James Parnell at 12.07 by C section weighing 6lbs,
mum and baby (and son) doing well.”

Losing those Lockdown pounds!

Maureen has also been busy motivating members
to join her in losing those lockdown pounds and getting fit.

in a bid to get fit!
