Professor and local resident Anne Hill, county councillor Darren Mayor, school governor and retired teacher Graham Roberts, local doctor Melanie Plant, and police officer Kevin Jones, formed the perfect panel at Llangynog WI’s Open Evening.

Members from numerous WI’s, together with residents of Llangynog, listened with interest as the panel answered questions on a wide range of topical issues. Subjects ranging from ‘Should voting be made compulsory?’ to ‘What are the main crime issues in a rural environment?’ elicited thoughtful and informative responses from the panel.

The evening was very well attended and rounded off with a delicious spread.
