On Wednesday 10th April, Llangynog WI enjoyed a tasty Thai supper following a lively and informative cookery demonstration by Zarena Allan.
She gave us hints about the differences between Thai other Asian cooking methods, showed us how to make corn fritters and a tasty cucumber pickle to complement the two Thai dishes, a beef massaman and a tofu curry with peanuts she made in her demonstration.
The dishes were delicious and not too spicy for those who hadn’t experience Thai cuisine before.
Our curry tasting was then supported by an excellent selection of desserts provided by our hosts for the evening.
