On Wednesday, May 26th May, Llangynog WI members, partners and friends, invited villagers to come along to a
WI Open Evening.

Following on from the Coronation, members decided to go back in time to an earlier Carolean age, to the era of King Charles I and King Charles II… the Cavaliers and Roundheads, Oliver Cromwell, the plague, the great fire of London, Nell Gwyn and Samuel Pepys!

As well as interesting historical information, it was an evening full of fun, humour, music, sauce and scandal!
