Meeting: 11th July, 2017
Canine Frolics!

Canine Frolics came to Llangynog, where WI members braved rain and midges, to enjoy the spectacle of dogs, Skittles, Spice and Spray, displaying amazing skills of obedience and agility.

The evening began with Sue Powell, owner and trainer, talking about the need to use a kind, caring and fair approach in dog training. She then demonstrated the success of her positive, reward-based, training methods, by putting the dogs through their paces outside in the elements. The dogs had a wonderful time ‘showing off’ to an appreciative audience.

The evening was rounded off nicely with supper in the hall provided by Pauline Wilson and Hazel Owen. The raffle prize, a rather nice tablecloth, was donated by Anne Hill and won by Cath Williams. Competition: ‘Dog Biscuits’ for human consumption
