Festive Shorts

On the evening of Thursday 3rd November, eight Llangynog members, plus a small group of male friends, travelled, by ‘Swiftlist’ minibus, to Berriew to take part in a PMFWI evening of ‘Festive Shorts’ i.e., sketches, song and Dance.

Several other Llangynog members kindly came along to watch and give welcome support. Llangynog WI presented a humorous ballet skit based on Swan Lake, and entitled ‘Up the Swanny’.

The gents, who took on the part of the baby swans, were very well received, even though they were definitely not bona fide WI members!
