Out and About

In April, several Llangynog WI members went to see “The Ring, The Caskets & The Sultan’s Daughter” at the Tanat Theatre.
Helen, Jennie, Janet, Ann Marsh and Mary were photographed with Alan Young at the end of the show. Alan played the part of Saleem and Mary was prompt.

In May, members attended the Powys Spring Group meeting and were entertained by the Llansillin Male Voice quartet and were treated to a delicious supper.

In June Llanymynech WI celebrated its Centenary. Our members were invited to go along and be entertained by John Croft and his ukulele. Hazel, Mary and Val joined in with the sing-along!

Also, in June it was the NFWI Annual Meeting in Bournemouth. Mary went along to represent us as our link group delegate. Here she is after enjoying a stroll along the front with her room-mate and new found friend, Ruth.
