PMFWI Day Trip by Coach:
Hampton Court Castle and Gardens,
Leominster (30th June, 2016)
On Thursday 30th June, members, Anne Hill, Val Atherton and Janet Burton had a splendid day out at Hampton Court Castle, Gardens and Parkland.
On arrival they were given a most interesting guided tour of the 15th Century Medieval Castle.

Shortly after, they negotiated their way around the incredible yew tree maze, and enjoyed strolling around the award-winning gardens.

A waterfall, other water features, and wonderful collection of contemporary statues, gave added interest to this lovely setting.

The three members enjoyed a delicious lunch in the Orangery Cafe, joined by Gwenfyl and Maureen from Llanrhaeadr WI, and later, as the weather was kind, they had afternoon tea and an ice-cream in the grounds.
