Festive Fondant

Members arrived very much in the festive spirit, wearing their Christmas jumpers and hats, etc.

After the ‘business’, we had great fun by playing the “Twas the Night Before Christmas” left/right gift exchange game, with everyone ending up with a gift to take home!

Jackie Barnes, speaker and demonstrator, then led us in a Christmas Fondant Icing Decoration Workshop. Members had arrived armed with rolling pins and sharp knives, as instructed. Step by step, Jackie carefully guided us as we made our very own Rudolf cake decorations.

And very splendid they were!

A delicious Christmas supper was supplied by Morrisons, for all members to enjoy, with a glass of mulled wine!

The stage, illuminated by Santa’s sleigh, provided a suitably festive back-drop!

Members generously donated items for a local foodbank.
