Cartoon Characters

At the June meeting of Llangynog WI, members did not expect that they would all become cartoonists, as it were, overnight! However, business over, Malcolm Whitaker, cartoonist, and his able assistant, were welcomed into the fold and, armed with a pen and blank sheets of paper, members took real delight in following Malcolm’s instructions to create cartoons displaying emotions, attitude and movement.

It took nerve and concentration but with Malcolm’s encouragement and expertise, all members were able to work with confidence to draw unique, expressive cartoon characters.

It was a very enjoyable and worthwhile evening, rounded off with a tasty supper provided by Committee members.
