With the planned speaker being cancelled, everyone was delighted to welcome Rocky, the African Salcuta tortoise, bought in by member Debbie Clarke, who told the group he is eight years old and could live to 150!!

Rocky spent the evening strolling around the hall introducing himself!

Members also enjoyed an evening of games including boccia , table tennis and snooker.

Snooker: Alan Young kindly came along to assist.

The competition "craft an item by weaving" was won by Anne Saunders.
