Meeting: 11th July, 2018
Boxes and Envelopes

It was yet another hot and humid evening when Llangynog WI members met up for their meeting in July. With windows flung open and the electric fan wafting a welcome breeze, Pam Parnell, one of Llangynog's own members, explained and deftly demonstrated, how to construct and decorate small gift boxes and envelopes.

She provided a lovely selection of card and paper, and a wide variety of decorations to choose from. Armed with templates, scissors, rulers and glue, members wasted no time in getting to grips with the art of envelope and box making!

Pam was then asked to judge the results of the evening's labours, selecting Anne Saunders' box to take first place as the prettiest.
