‘Berwyn Belles’

Choir

Members of this newly formed choir and WI group, led by Catherine Foreman, have been extremely busy during November and December, with rehearsals and three performances.

Their first performance was at the PMFWI Carol Service on December 4th in Welshpool, where this small group sang ‘Little Donkey’ and ‘Calypso Carol’.

This slightly larger group sang for Clwb y Cwm on 11th December, adding White Christmas to their repertoire.

Finally, on 22nd December, the choir now boasting ten members, performed at the Christmas Carol Service at St. Cynog’s Church, Llangynog. A group of Llangynog children also entertained with carols and songs.

The service was well attended and rounded off with mulled wine and mince pies.
