Federation Christmas Event

Anne Evans, Chris Norwell, Ann Morgan, Mary McKenzie and Anne Saunders all enjoyed a day of demonstrations and craft activity at this year’s Federation Christmas Event.

Chris Norwell had this to say…

“After tea and biscuits on arrival our first workshop was to make a macrame cord key chain, we all succeeded in the task, then we moved on to watching a Christmas floral arrangement demonstration, I'm sure we will all be having an attempt this Christmas to produce one.
Then a great lunch of quiche, ham and salad followed by some delicious puds!

The afternoon started with a demonstration by a beauty firm, all natural products which sounded very promising!
Our last workshop was Christmas cookery, we all had a go at an owl made out of fondant icing.

The day finished with coffee & mince pies and the raffle. Our group went home with a couple of prizes, all full of Christmas ideas!”
