Marching through

March

Still living in lockdown, but hopefully marching forward towards a brighter future!

Ann Marsh, determined to stay fit in mind and body with her daily yoga routine!
You could try this at home… or maybe we should say, don’t try this at home!

Janet tries out a vegetarian recipe found in the March edition of WI Life.

Chris’ husband, Phil, celebrated his birthday this month.

And so too, did Pam’s husband.

This month we are delighted to have Ann Marsh and Ann Morgan join us on Zoom. CHEERS!

Val: “No, I'm not holding an illegal party, just displaying my latest project, approximately 45 metres of bunting, and yes, I am going to be party ready!!!”

Pam is used to painting pictures, but this month she tries something completely different, ‘paint by numbers’ and she really enjoyed it!

She’s been baking and making too. A lemon drizzle to make you drool and a table tent for her grandson.

Anne Hill has been taking part in ‘The Great Big Art Exhibition’ a nationwide project to get people making and exhibiting art in their windows and gardens.

Two amazing portraits which Anne has been working on, a photographer friend, with his ‘lockdown’ haircut, and TV presenter, Clive Myrie.

Val, Mike and Janet enjoy a socially distanced walk. They take a break to admire the view with a flask of coffee and home-made welsh cakes!

‘Maureen’s Masterpieces’

Maureen continues to make excellent progress after signing up to an online watercolour painting course!

Spring has Sprung

Spring has definitely sprung in Anne Marsh’s garden!

And Janet has been doing a bit of Spring Cleaning!

In her dolls house!

Val’s fabulous photograph entries for next year’s (2022) PMFWI Calendar Competition.

Mary’s little lamb meets Janet’s Buzz

We are successful in our application for a PAVO grant for the purchase of gazebos!!!

Val decided, as she wouldn’t be cruising the Seine anytime soon,
she’d do this jigsaw instead!

Pam manages to get herself booked in for a
haircut as soon as the salons re-opened! Gorgeous colour!

Val, Mike and Monty walk to Pennant where they see Mary and her new lamb.

And when Val wasn’t out walking Monty, or doing jigsaws, she found time to make these lovely patchwork cushions!

Janet’s in the pink…

Early splash of Spring colour in her back garden.
And daffs at the front.

Our PAVO funded Gazebos have arrived

Time to test out the first of our new pop-up gazebos!

Two households are now allowed to meet-up outdoors, so, Anne & Stephen and Janet & Dave take advantage of a lovely warm day to test the red gazebo.

All up and sorted.

Time to attach one of the sides. Success! Now a well-deserved glass of wine to celebrate.

Chris: How nice to enjoy a hill top walk in the sunshine!

Val: My first attempt at sourdough. It takes one week to make!

Gazebo number two up… with three sides left open. Val & Mike and Janet & Dave enjoying a socially distanced cuppa.
