Llangynog WI members thoroughly enjoyed an evening at the theatre when they went to see the comedy play, ‘ART’, featuring all-star cast, Nigal Havers, Denis Lawson and Stephen Tomkinson.

The story revolves around three friends who find their previously solid 15-year friendship on shaky ground when one of them buys an expensive painting. The canvas is white, with very faintly painted diagonal white lines. They square off over the canvas, using it as an excuse to relentlessly, and hilariously, verbally batter one another.

However, as their arguments become less theoretical and more personal (and even physical) they border on destroying their friendship!
