Thanks to members’ enthusiasm and sheer number of entries (every entry gained us points) Llangynog WI succeeded in holding on to the prestigious Mona Jones Shield for another year! This was presented to and proudly received by Mary McKenzie, at the PMFWI Annual Council.

Llangynog WI Members submitted an absolutely amazing 44 entries and gained three 3rds, four 2nds and five 1sts! Winning entries, included a story, a sentence, two limericks, three poems and five fliers. Members submitted entries in English and Welsh.
