This month Anne attended a watercolour painting course at Denman. Here’s what she had to say about the experience…

Anne Hill:

Denman is absolutely wonderful. We loved being there.

The atmosphere is so warm, welcoming and friendly. Everyone is there to learn, to share and to make new friends. You could also eat far too much!

I would strongly advocate for people to try it and I will certainly be going back there.

Even if you go alone, you will find like minded women with whom you will love spending time.

Anne’s husband, Stephen also went along.

Stephen chose to do a History and Heritage course, entitled ‘Discover Oxford’, which he enjoyed very much.

On returning home Anne wasted no time in trying out
newly acquired skills and painted this lovely picture of a hare.
