Those boots were made for walking

November's meeting took the group to the dizzy heights of Mount Everest courtesy of Oswestry author, Dave Andrews. Dave gave us a thought provoking talk on life at the base camp. If you think Everest too demanding he also spoke of his now famous ‘Oswestry Round’ a walk raising money for the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund.

Competition - Design a 2D, 8 point compass - was won by Joanne.
Anne Hill came second and Chris was third.

The evening was rounded off with a delicious supper
provided by Joanne Hill and Gwenfyl Williams.
