Meeting: 14th April, 2021 |
On the evening of Wednesday, 14th April, WI members played a virtual game of 'Articulate'. This was an easy and fun game organised and hosted by Mary McKenzie.
Prior to the meeting, Mary delivered envelopes to all the participants, containing a number of cards.
The envelopes were to be opened on screen and not before!
These had words under various categories, such as PEOPLE, WORLD, OBJECT, etc.
The object of the game was for each player to ‘articulate’ their words without actually saying them, whilst other players guessed what the words might be! Some words were trickier than others, and the articulation was sometimes accompanied by a degree frustration and much gesticulation!
Also, during the evening, our very first raffle prize winner was announced!
Chris Norwell was the lucky winner of an original egg tempera painting,
kindly donated by Anne Hill.
